Freedom After Divorce - Reclaim Your LifeНамуна

Day 4: Lean on God
Healing after divorce begins with learning to lean fully on God. People may walk away, but you are never alone—He has promised to never leave or forsake you.
Much of our pain comes from expecting others to show up in ways they never promised. When those expectations aren’t met, bitterness and disappointment creep in. But God offers something greater: His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Release the need for others to fill the void. Trust God as your Comforter, your constant source of strength. As you let go of unrealistic expectations, you make room for healing, growth, and freedom.
God is glorified when you stand firm in your faith, forgive quickly, and trust Him to carry you through. Your healing will not come from others—it will come from Him.
Reflection: Are there expectations of others that you need to release today? How might letting go bring you closer to God’s peace?
Prayer: Father, thank You for being my steady place when others walk away. Help me release unrealistic expectations, lean fully on You, and find peace in Your constant presence. Amen.
