Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of GodНамуна

“But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord.” — Genesis 6:8 (NIV)
The world was dark—full of chaos and sin. God was grieved by the path humanity had taken. Judgment was coming. But even then, there was grace. A plan for salvation. A covenant to be established.
Despite human brokenness, God’s heart was always set on redemption.
What a reminder: when we walk through dark or messy seasons—when shame, guilt, or chaos seem to surround us—there is still the shining light of the cross. We haven’t just been saved from a flood, but from sin and death itself.
Jesus is our lifeboat. Through Him we’ve been given a new covenant, a never-ending grace, and the promise that He is always near.
So if you’re in a storm right now, will you reach out to Him? And if you’re sailing steady for now, will you anchor His grace deep in your heart—ready for the waves to come?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You had a plan to save Noah and his family, and we thank You that You had a plan to save us. Please help us to hold firmly to Your grace and salvation through Jesus today and every day. Amen.
