Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of GodНамуна

"These are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood." - Gen 10:32 (NIV)
After the devastation of the flood, God had a plan for humanity, establishing the diversity of culture, language, and geographical locations.
The diversity of this world, in all its wonder and beauty, originates in Him.
It can be easy to stay in our own bubble when it comes to understanding our relationship with God and what the outworking of that may look like, sometimes imposing cultural boundaries on people God is calling us to reach with the gospel.
Genesis 10 encourages us to embrace God’s heart for all people, remembering that although we come from different backgrounds, we all trace our origins to the same Creator.
No matter who we encounter on a day-to-day basis, we can be confident that God has a plan for every single person. We are called to break through cultural and language barriers and reach others with the love of God.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the wonderful diversity of this world. Give me a heart for all people that reflects Your love. Amen.
