Listen to the sounds of nature and people. The entire earth is revolving to glorify God. But because of the many fronts against our faith throughout the world, Christians have begun to believe that this earth has been lost to evil. Many of us are simply biding our time until Christ returns to rid us from this sinful planet, and we are missing our opportunity as beings created by Him – and designed to reflect Him – to partner with Creation in this corporate cry of praise to our Creator. Psalm 24 proclaims, “The earth and all that’s upon it belong to the Eternal.” (Psalm 24:1) The apostle Paul takes it one step further in writing, “It was by Him that everything was created … Every detail was crafted through His design, by His own hands, and for His purposes.” (Colossians 1:16) Simply put, every single atom was created to make God famous. But making God famous throughout the world begins in our individual hearts. Here’s to the free Who still believe You’re the star of the show that we came to see With all my heart, all my life, gonna live it loud I wanna make you famous Like when John the Baptist said, “He must increase, but I must decrease,” (John 3:30) the more we relinquish the spotlight on ourselves, the more we start to brag about Him and the more we want to do what is good and right. From there, it spreads like wildfire. We no longer want to cheat in school. Gossip no longer occupies our conversations. We stop watching pornography or texting demeaning messages because it simply does not glorify God. Instead, gradually, our hearts begin to more and more reflect God. And as we give Him the center space of our hearts, our lives become healthier and more meaningful in the here and now. Sanctification has byproducts! Daily ask the Lord to turn the flashlight on in your heart to expose the things that need to change or shift for your good and His glory. Through this personal process of sanctification, God will not only become famous in your heart, but throughout the world.
