Immanuel, God With UsSmakprov
You and I were created to relate to God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God loves people. He loves relationship, and especially the Word reveals to us how He has turned the world upside down to recover, restore and reestablish that relationship with us.
The consequences of that reconciliation are pleasing and desirable to God, but for us, they are the greatest miracle in history. The salvation of our soul, undoubtedly, the most relevant, urgent and necessary miracle that we can imagine, brings consequences, just as the rupture of the bond had its consequences.
Restoring the bond is possible. It requires intentionality on both sides, a lot of effort, and dedication; dedication on the part of the father/father figure and acceptance on the part of the child. We hope throughout this plan, you discovered without a doubt, that God is willing and completely dedicated to the cause. The question is, how will we children respond?
Since the breakup came because of us, there may be shame, fear of rejection, or mistrust keeping us distant or ready to suffer, and we find it difficult to accept their love, devotion and care. For this reason, start by taking small steps. Try to restore that bond again. When this happens, small miracles occur. He heals our wounds, comforts our cries, listens to our stories, and fights our battles. The consequences are both short and long term. The small gifts are a foretaste of the big gift; an eternity with Him, the bond restored.
The hardest part is already solved, and total and absolute surrender is at our disposal. He is waiting. He has been announced, and He has arrived. He is Immanuel: he is God with us.
Om den här läsplanen
In the beginning, God dwelt with human beings. The relationship was close, direct, without intermediaries, and without impediments. Everything went wrong because of sin, we went astray, we moved away from home, but then He came. Jesus came to bring light into our lives, He brought us closer to the Father again. And now God is with us, He is Immanuel.
