### THE NAME OF THE LORD The Bible teaches us that the Name of the Lord is holy and powerful - a Name above all others. We don’t have to go far into reading the Bible to discover that God doesn’t just have one name; He has many! Some know Him as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Some, as El Roi, the God who sees. Or I AM. Of course, we know Him as Jesus Christ. Each name given to God represents a different facet of His character. So, when we talk about the power in the Name of the Lord, we are not just talking about one name or a magic word. We are talking about the very nature of God - the God who continues to reveal Himself to us in wonderful, mysterious, and beautiful ways. And we know that God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So today, whatever it is you are going through, apply the Name of the Lord to your situation. Meditate on the different facets of His nature. Believe in your heart that these aren’t false names, but the truth about who our God is. Once you sense that faith in your heart, ask God in the Name above all names – Jesus Christ – for whatever it is you need and trust that God’s Name will be proven true in Your life for His glory!
