Only the power of the Holy Spirit can transform us, relieve our guilt, and heal our souls.” - Michael Yousseff The waiting was over.  There was a sound, there were signs, and there was power to witness.  They received a divine ability to speak to their audience.  Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  The power of the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts was meant to empower the church to reach everyone to the very ends of the earth.  While there are still people to reach, God will empower us and send us.  The events of Acts are meant to continue today—He is the same today, and today the great commission still awaits our response.
