5 Minutes That Change Everything: Meeting God in the MomentsVzorec

God Meets You Where You Are
You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to God. You don’t need the perfect setting. He knows your day. He sees your mess. And He welcomes you.
Psalm 139 reminds us that God knows when we sit and when we rise. “You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways… Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether” (Psalm 139:3–4, ESV). That means He knows how tired you are. He knows you’re stretched thin. And He still wants to meet with you.
Some people avoid God because they feel behind: “I haven’t prayed in weeks.” “I’m so distracted.” “God’s probably disappointed.” But that’s not how grace works. God doesn’t call you into His presence with guilt—He draws you with love.
Even five honest minutes with God can be a place of refreshment. Don’t wait until you feel spiritual. Don’t wait until you’ve got it all together. Come as you are. That’s the invitation of the gospel.
Gospel Truth: Jesus came to us at our worst—not our best (Romans 5:8, ESV). He’s not afraid of your chaos. He meets you in it.
Reflection
What’s keeping you from meeting with God? What if you just came honestly—even for a moment?
