Reign Reign was written with a heart of conviction. So often, we dive into worship without first inviting Jesus to take the highest place in heaven and on earth. We are constantly reminded that the kingdom of God is so much bigger than what we see in front of us. But it’s easy to stick to a routine or just sing the words of a song without remembering why we are worshiping Him. Philippians 2:9-11 is a scripture that really speaks to the gravity of our Lord Jesus. “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Because God exalted Him to the highest place, we need to surrender it all. We need to let Him have access to every room in our heart. Give God an invitation to operate within every aspect of your life. Allowing Him to enter every room acknowledges that we know He is good and He loves us. What an incredible moment of freedom! Something else happens when we invite God to reign within us. We are able to put heaven on display for all of those around us to see. So let God reign!
