There’s no weakness in humility. In fact, true humility empowers us with great strength. Did you reach out to anyone on your list from yesterday? It takes humility to give someone else a compliment, and it also takes boldness . That’s why more people don’t do it. It takes confidence to believe your words have the power to lift someone up and to understand doing that doesn’t take anything away from you. When you have a posture of humility, it’s easy to have confidence. Two big things happen when you learn to be humble. First, your eyes are opened to a whole new perspective on the world around you. With humility, you not only realize your own worth, but also see and appreciate the inherent value of others. This will change you. Believe me. Your conversations will be different. Your motivations will be different. The way you understand and relate to others will be different. And this brings me to the second thing that happens when you walk in humility: People will notice. When you live life as if it isn’t all about you (because it isn’t), you become more attractive. Just like that! Humility works like a magnet. You’ll find that more people want to be around you because of how you make them feel. Maybe you’ve been craving this: connecting with your friends and family on a deeper level. Making new friendships. Finding the joy that comes with becoming invested in someone else’s life. Believe it or not (and hopefully you believe it by now!), that all comes with being a more humble person.
