Day 6: Refuse to Give Up!

Scripture:Galatians 6:9 — “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

I know how it feels when you’re struggling. It often feels like you’re not making any progress — like the fear, addiction, or torment will never end. It feels like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, and you begin to wonder if you will ever overcome. But here’s the truth: you are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory.

The pressure you feel isn’t coming from inside of you — it’s from outside. It’s from religion, from guilt, from the lies the enemy whispers to make you doubt God’s love for you. If only you could see how powerful you already are in Christ, you would laugh at what used to intimidate you.

I remember my teenage years. I used to struggle with pornography. I thought I’d never be free, but today, I can boldly say it’s been almost ten years since I last searched for anything close to that. It didn’t happen in one day, but it began with one decision — the decision to believe that I am more than a conqueror through Christ.

There are still areas of my life where I am trusting God for total victory, but I keep my eyes on the Word and walk the path of righteousness, knowing that God is faithful. So, if you feel like giving up, this is your word: Don’t! Rise up like the victor that you are. Your story is not over. You are walking in victory already.

Reflection

You are stronger than you think. Every day you keep standing, heaven celebrates you. Don’t measure your progress by what you see today — measure it by the Word. God is not finished with you, and you are not defined by your struggle but by His grace.

Prayer & Confession

Father, thank You for Your strength at work in me. I refuse to give up or let fear win. I believe that I am walking in victory through Christ Jesus. Help me to see myself the way You see me — righteous, strong, and full of power. I receive grace to keep standing, knowing that You are faithful to finish what You started in me. Amen.
