Day 5: You have God’s Power in You

Scripture: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…” — Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

Many believers talk about God’s power as though it’s something we’re still waiting for. But if you are born again, you already carry the most significant source of power within you—the Holy Spirit. He is the very person of God’s power.

The moment you received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you became enlisted among those who can release God’s power on earth. You are not powerless.

So, what image of yourself do you see? A timid believer hoping for validation—or a giant that cannot be ignored? Even those who may not look strong in appearance can carry themselves with authority. You have no excuse for timidity. Refuse Satan’s lies.

The enemy wants to keep you tied to a weak version of yourself—a version that doubts, fears, and feels unworthy. He whispers, “This isn’t for people like you… not while you’re still struggling.” His goal is to make you shift from Victory Mode to Victim Mode. Don’t allow it.

God’s Word says something different about you:

You are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).
You are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
You are made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27).

Can you imagine God Himself struggling helplessly through life? Never! So rise and walk boldly in the power that’s already yours. You are a powerful child of God—strong, victorious, and filled with the Spirit.

Reflection:
Do you see yourself as weak and waiting, or as powerful and already equipped through the Holy Spirit?

Prayer & Confession
Father, thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit and His Power. I refuse to live timidly or in fear. I choose to see myself as You see me: strong, victorious, and full of divine power. Amen.
