The Road Home: Reflections of a Prodigalනියැදිය

The book of Hosea is a tragic and beautiful story of repeated rejection and repeated pursuit.
The book portrays God’s steadfast love toward His unfaithful people through the prophet’s painful marriage to Gomer, a woman who betrays him. Israel’s spiritual adultery — chasing idols and worldly security — brings judgment, yet God’s heart still longs for their return. In the end, Hosea reveals that God’s love is relentless, seeking to heal, forgive, and restore those who repent and come back to Him.

Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son to a crowd of tax collectors and sinners, the unsavory people of that time. The Pharisees stand by in judgment. As we read together, we will explore the themes of repentance, returning, and rejoicing. Hopefully, we will be challenged and encouraged as we reflect on our own seasons and events that draw us back towards the Father – only to find Him running towards us!
