The Road Home: Reflections of a Prodigalනියැදිය

Again, as we move from our study of "repent" and "return," we will reread Jesus' parable of the Prodigal Son. Focusing on the word "rejoice," we will look at the responses of the Father, the older son, and ourselves.
What strikes you in the different responses of the Father and the older son?
Have you ever had a response similar to the older son? Having been the person who was just always faithful and always there?
How can you grow in your desire to see the lost people around you come to faith?

Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son to a crowd of tax collectors and sinners, the unsavory people of that time. The Pharisees stand by in judgment. As we read together, we will explore the themes of repentance, returning, and rejoicing. Hopefully, we will be challenged and encouraged as we reflect on our own seasons and events that draw us back towards the Father – only to find Him running towards us!
