PRAY  Great God, I acknowledge You and Your Son, Jesus, as the God of all power, the God of miracles.

READ  Matthew 14:22-36

REFLECT  What “storms” have you faced recently? How did you cope? How did your faith help you deal with any fear or danger? What have you learned to help in future storms?

APPLY  Think of a situation that is causing you fear or stress. With that in mind, say aloud several times, “Take courage. It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

PRAY  Lord, when those inevitable storms of life come to me, help me to remember Your presence and power with me.
