Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1 NKJV).
How consistently do you praise the Lord?
David acted like a madman before the king of Gath to save his life (1 Samuel 21:10–15), yet he praised God, saying, “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good” (Psalm 34:8 NKJV). Despite his circumstances, David continuously experienced God’s protection. Let his example remind you to praise God consistently, knowing He is always good.
I encourage all of those in my congregation to make a habit of thanking and praising God daily, regardless of their circumstances, acknowledging His goodness and faithfulness. I ask you to do the same.
Employment Point: Unceasingly praise the unchanging God.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
