Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two

DAY 196 OF 365

For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall (Psalm 18:29 NKJV).

Can God use you to do great things for His kingdom?

In today’s reading, Psalm 18 recounts David’s escape from Saul’s army, highlighting God's power. Likewise, in Acts 19, “God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul” (Acts 19:11 NKJV). God is not limited by our weaknesses. If we submit to Him, He can work through us just as He did with David and Paul. Keep your eyes of faith on God and allow Him to use you for His purposes. After all, He has the power!

Be open to opportunities where God can use you to make a difference, no matter how small or large they may seem.

Employment Point: Walk with God and allow Him to do the impossible through you.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
