Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

What is man that You are mindful of him? (Psalm 8:4 NKJV).
Are you making a difference in the world?
Paul and Silas were described as those who “have turned the world upside down” (Acts 17:6 NKJV). They recognized their frailty but boldly shared the powerful news of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Paul declared to the Thessalonians, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ” (Acts 17:3 NKJV). Their faith spread widely: “...Your faith toward God has gone out” (1 Thessalonians 1:8 NKJV).
We should boldly follow in their footsteps, proclaiming the crucified and resurrected Lord to impact the world around us. Share your testimony with someone this week, explaining how Jesus has transformed your life.
Employment Point: Proclaim the crucified and resurrected Lord to turn this world upside down.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
