Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You (Job 42:2 NKJV).
Have you limited God in your thinking?
Despite being under house arrest, Paul knew God’s greatness. He did not let obstacles stand in his way. Although he was a prisoner of Rome, he used this time to glorify God by writing letters that would outlast the Empire! In these letters, he wrote about God’s abundant blessings (Ephesians 1:3; 2:6) and believed God could do exceedingly more than we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Today, trust in God’s vast ability as shown in Scripture. Reflect on areas where you may have limited God in your thinking to align your mind with the truth of God’s power.
Employment Point: Ponder God’s power and trust Him for great things.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
