Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

Father, glorify Your name (John 12:28 NKJV).
How can you glorify God today?
At the Temple's dedication, Solomon exalted the LORD, declaring, “...For He is good, for His mercy endures forever...” (2 Chronicles 5:13 NKJV). This heartfelt praise pleased God so much that “the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God” (2 Chronicles 5:14 NKJV).
We can glorify God today by giving thanks for His goodness and mercy. In our conversations, we can uplift others with encouraging words and speak truth in love. Our actions can reflect His love through acts of kindness, volunteering, and inviting others into our homes for meals and celebrating the goodness of God. At work or in school, we can show integrity and diligence, demonstrating that our efforts are for His glory. By daily prayer and worship, we honor our God and glorify His name.
Employment Point: Seek to glorify God through all you say and do.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
