Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends (John 15:13 NKJV).
How can you imitate Jesus and serve your local church family?
As Jesus served His disciples, He said, “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you,” (John 13:15 NKJV). Our Lord's love for His followers is amazing. John writes, “...having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end” (John 13:1 NKJV). Jesus loves His disciples with all His holy essence.
To serve others in the church like Jesus, we can start by showing genuine love and humility. This includes listening to those in need, praying for fellow believers, and offering support during difficult times. We can volunteer our time and skills to help with church activities, provide meals for families in need, and offer transportation to those who lack it. By imitating Jesus' selflessness, we can build a stronger, more compassionate church community, demonstrating our love for the family of God through our actions.
Employment Point: Imitate Jesus by humbly serving the family of God.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
