Day 3 – Teaching Faith at Home

Scripture: “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” – Deuteronomy 6:6–7 (NIV)

Reflection

Faith is not just for Sundays at church. God’s design is that faith is lived out in the home, in everyday life. Teaching our children about God does not always require a formal lesson. It can be as simple as a bedtime prayer, a verse shared on the way to school, or a story of how God answered a prayer in your life.

When we bring God into ordinary moments, it shows our children that He is part of everything we do. They begin to see that following Jesus is not a separate activity; it is a way of life. This is how faith becomes part of their hearts, not just their heads.
