Raising Kingdom-Minded Children in a Broken World - 30-Day Devotionalਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 2 – Raising Arrows
Scripture: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.” – Psalm 127:3–4 (NIV)
Reflection
The Bible describes children as both a heritage and as arrows. A heritage is something valuable that we care for and pass on. Arrows are meant to be sharpened, prepared, and then released. That means our children are not ours to keep forever. They are entrusted to us by God so that we can prepare them for His purposes.
Parenting is not about ownership; it is about stewardship. God has placed unique gifts and callings inside each of our children. Our job is to nurture those gifts, shape their character, and prepare them to be arrows that fly straight and true. When they are released into the world, they can carry hope and light into dark places.
Biblical Affirmation for Your Children
“My children are arrows in God’s hand, prepared and released for His purpose.”
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of my children. Help me to see them the way You do, as arrows in Your hand. Teach me how to sharpen and prepare them with wisdom, love, and faith. May their lives always be aimed at Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step for Parents
Speak a blessing over your children today. Tell them that God made them for a purpose and that He is preparing them to do great things.
