Romans 8:15 turns fear into deep belonging: “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption.” You are not a slave cowering in fear; you are a beloved child crying, “Abba, Father.” This is not legal paperwork—it’s intimate family life. This is the heartbeat of new covenant identity: sons and daughters calling God “Abba.” Where fear once whispered lies, the Spirit now whispers love and assurance. Today, speak to God as your Abba—not a judge, but your loving Father.
