Romans 8:18 lifts our eyes beyond the present: “Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Paul doesn’t dismiss pain—he puts it beside an overwhelming future hope. The troubles that feel huge today shrink before the unstoppable beauty of resurrection life and a renewed creation. This is the forward pull of new creation—the birth pangs of God’s world made new. Whatever weight you carry, remember: it won’t have the last word. Today, tell God you trust Him with your pain, and fix your hope on the glory ahead.
