Romans 8: Life in Christ by the Spiritਨਮੂਨਾ

DAY 17—We Groan for Redemption
Romans 8:23 says we feel this ache too: “We ourselves…groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for… the redemption of our bodies.” The Spirit within you is a down payment of more to come. His presence makes you long for wholeness. You’re already God’s child, but you wait for the day your body is made new, too. It’s normal to feel the tension: alive in the Spirit, yet still aging and hurting. Let that longing push you closer to Jesus. Pray, “Come, Lord—finish Your work in me.” He will.
