Jesus Withers the Fig Tree
The fig tree didn’t bear fruit and therefore it had to bear Jesus’ wrath. Interestingly, it withered immediately, so much so that everyone noticed it and wondered what happened. Jesus implored His disciples then, and us now, to ask boldly for things that seem practically impossible. Who dunks a mountain in a sea, and yet He says it’s possible for one who believes.
This is the challenge for you today:
‘If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer’
What have you been praying for?
Do you believe that God will give you what you are asking for?
Doubt is one thing that keeps us from experiencing the supernatural.
What if we were to believe with a boldness that shocked the enemy and excited our God?
What if we prayed big prayers that were beyond our wildest dreams and could not be achievable in our own strength?
What if our prayers were for our cities and nations rather than only for ourselves and our families.
We have a prayer answering God for whom nothing is impossible. That mountain of pain, debt, infertility or loneliness is nothing to the God of the Universe. You can pray it out of your life with faith in the power of the name of Jesus and stand on the promises of God that are all "yes and amen" in Christ.
Will you believe that God is who He says He is?
Will you begin to pray bold prayers that will usher in the supernatural power of God?
