What Is My Calling?ਨਮੂਨਾ

Called to glory
“We exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, Who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.” (1 Thessalonians 2:12 ESV)
God calls people to faith. His purpose is that they will share in His future. Paul uses the words “kingdom” and “glory” for this. In 1 Timothy 6:12 (ESV) he speaks of “eternal life” and in 2 Thessalonians 2:14 (ESV) of “the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Peter also writes of “His eternal glory” as the destination of believers.
All these phrases show something of a future that will be full of God's glory, which will never pass away and in which Jesus Christ plays a central role as the King of heaven and earth. In that awesome Kingdom believers will find their home. They already experience the beginning of this, but at the end of time it will be complete.
When hearing the word “calling,” Christians quickly think of a task to be performed. But the “calling to God's glory” is first and foremost a heartfelt invitation to enjoy forever the good things the Lord God has in store for us. However, this calling does bring with it a responsibility to live even now according to the principles of God's Kingdom, “through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:13 ESV).
How do you imagine a future in God's glory? What aspects appeal to you most?
