Power On!ਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever stood at a high point to look out over the horizon while the sun sets over it and the sky is painted with orange and pink and fairy floss like clouds? You take a breath and think, "Wow! - this is God’s creation!"
God is the ultimate creator. In this verse, we are inviting God to create in us a pure heart, being made clean from sin, and becoming deeply devoted in our love for God. As God creates in us a pure heart, He also renews a steadfast spirit.
To renew is to resume after interruption, and to be steadfast is to be firmly established. God desires to resume in us a firmly established spirit, not because we’ve never had one, but instead to resume and begin again what was interrupted.
Would you invite God to transform your heart and to renew a steadfast spirit in you today? Committing to be clean from sin and to become deeply devoted to Christ.
Prayer:
God, I invite You to create in me a pure and clean heart. Where my spirit hasn’t been steadfast or in alignment with You, would You renew and begin again a right spirit within me. Amen.

About this Plan

With Jesus, we want to go from "standing by" to stepping out! Through these readings, experience stories of when God led people to turn "on" their spiritual power and saw the Holy Spirit move through them. God is ready to do miracles on Earth, but we can miss out on what He is ready to do by staying in the boat like Peter nearly did. These Scriptures will encourage you to step out of the boat and see the Power of the Holy Spirit move!
