Pathways to Purposeਨਮੂਨਾ

In this chapter we find that for David, his support network had been completely taken away, his family had been taken, his men wanted to stone him and the context indicates he was exhausted after days of walking. David’s last and only option was to seek out God for help and wisdom.
David, however flawed he may have been at this time strengthened himself in God. We see in this story that God proceeds to deliver David wisdom and guidance in how to respond to this invasion on his people, as David listens to God’s word, the eventual result is the return of family’s, provision for David’s people as well as the other tribes of Israel.
When we look at this set of circumstances, we see David in a position of brokenness and weakness.
If you find yourself in a position or a set of circumstances where you feel like you don’t have anywhere to turn or you simply just need Godly wisdom in a situation use this story to encourage yourself to seek out God in your moment of weakness.
God wants to meet you where you are at, no matter how good or how ugly you may think that is.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You that You’re a relational God and You know what each and every one of us is going through. God we give You our situation and we ask that You intervene, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom as we approach each challenge. Amen.
