Pathways to Purposeਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever said something in the heat of the moment and later wished you could take it back? I know I have. Our words can build up or tear down, and Proverbs 18:21 reminds us of the power they hold.
I remember a time when a harsh word caused a misunderstanding between me and a friend. It wasn’t until I apologized and asked for forgiveness that our relationship healed.
The Bible tells us that our words have the power to either bring life or bring death to situations and relationships. This is why it’s so important to speak with love, kindness, and wisdom. It can be easy to let frustration guide our speech, but when we speak with the heart of Christ, we bring healing and peace instead of division.
Today, take a moment to think before you speak. If you feel frustration rising, take a deep breath and choose your words wisely. Ask God to help you speak life into the situations and people around you.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to use my words wisely today. May I speak life and encouragement to those around me, reflecting Your love in all that I say. Amen.
