Pathways to Purposeਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever tried to get lost with a compass? It’s hard, right? No matter how hard you try to make it not point north, it will still point north. In a similar way, when God’s Word is written on your heart, it becomes like a compass, guiding your steps and keeping you in step with the Spirit and His will. The Word of God is not just about remembering verses—it’s about being transformed by them.
In the Old Testament, the Law was written on stone tablets. But through Jesus, God fulfilled His promise from Jeremiah 31:33:“I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts.”That means obedience is no longer about trying to follow rules out of fear or pressure—it’s about a relationship with God that changes our desires from the inside out to be more aligned with Him. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, His will becomes our joy.
If following God has ever felt heavy, ask Him to keep transforming your heart. His Spirit is at work, writing truth deep within you—not to control you, but to free you. Today, when you face a choice, pause and ask: “What direction is God’s compass pointing?” Does this align with His word? And follow with joy.
Prayer:
Lord, help me learn what is Your will and what is my own. Would it be a joy to look to You and follow Your will. I pray for strength to shake off the old ways and be transformed by the Holy Spirit and word of God. Amen.
