After the Crossਨਮੂਨਾ

Peter, the Peter, first heard about Jesus from his brother, Andrew. Andrew was just a fisherman, but after he spent a little time with Jesus, Scripture says, “the first thing Andrew did” was head home and let his brother Simon-Peter know. Andrew just couldn’t help himself. Christianity has never spread through great marketing or big publicity stunts. From the beginning, the news about Jesus has always traveled from person to person, conversation by conversation, invitation by invitation. Even in a crusade with a large stadium packed with people, it’s still just one person telling others about what Jesus did for them.

If God wanted to, He could have rolled back the sky and told the whole world the Good News. He could have sent legions of angels to the four corners of the Earth to announce the invitation to be His friend. But that’s not what He did. He chose, instead, to have His friends spread the Good News themselves. It's just one person telling someone they love about the Goodness of God. So just be like Andrew. Spend time with Jesus, and get to know Him. You will find that the desire to tell others about Him just leaks out of you.
