On the night Jesus was born, people came together to worship. Shepherds left their fields to see the newborn Savior. Wise men traveled from far away to bring their gifts. Angels sang and praised God. These different groups of people coming together to follow Jesus? They show us the way Jesus brings people together. Jesus changes how we see our community. He reminds us that we are brothers and sisters in Christ, both at Christmas and beyond.

This week, take a moment to pray for the community around you. Thank God for the people placed in your life this season. Consider how you can reach out to new friends, new people, or new parts of your community while appreciating those you have in your life.
