The Kid: An Advent Devotional for High Schoolersਨਮੂਨਾ

We typically spend Christmas with our loved ones—close friends, family, neighbors, and more. For many of us, that means fun traditions like giving presents, sharing meals, playing games, and watching holiday movies together. But for others, spending that much time with the people in your life may not be as merry and bright!
It might be because you’ve recently lost a loved one, your family dynamic can sometimes feel toxic, or you wish more people were around to spend time with this season. Whatever the reason, if Christmas feels challenging, you can find comfort in Jesus. When this Kid, the Prince of Peace, was born, He brought healing and comfort to the hurting and hope to all who believe. That means that when we face loss, hardship, or suffering, Jesus is with us to bring us peace.
This season, let Jesus’ presence fill your heart. Pray that you will feel His presence and experience His peace when you need it most this Christmas.
