If you've ever tried something new, you know some of the biggest fears that could come up include: looking dumb and doing the wrong things, messing up in front of everyone, or realizing it's just not for you. These are fears that a lot of people feel when they are trying something new. We want to feel like we know what we're doing — whether it's riding a bike or playing a new game for the first time
You might wonder if the disciples felt this way when Jesus told them to go out and tell people who he is and the miracles he's done. Some of their palms might have been sweaty, and their knees might have been weak! You can imagine some of them even asked, "Can I do this?" The disciples probably couldn't stop wrestling with this question as they went from village to village, but they didn't let it stop them from proclaiming this news!
What is a fear you have when it comes to talking to people about Jesus?

About this Plan

We all want to make a difference! We dream of making an impact and making the world a better place. The people who’ve made the biggest differences did it with other people. Jesus gave his followers a mission that would change the world — not as individuals, but as a group on a mission together. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll explore this mission.
