Seek Him before you seek the things of this world. Set your heart on the things of God. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Seek” used in Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬ is, ‘bāqaš’ (H1245) which means, “to seek to find, to seek to secure, to seek the face, to desire, demand, to require, exact, to ask, request.” Seek Christ and find your hope in Him. Secure your future in Him. Set your desire upon Christ. Set your heart on Christ. The Amplified Version expounds upon Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ in the following manner, “Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Seek Him as a vital necessity.
