But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immorality, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies.

That which goes into the mouth does not defile a man, but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. In vain they do worship Me, teaching as instructions from the precepts of men.’”

Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith. Let it be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

Then she came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, help me.” But He answered, “It is not fair to take the children’s bread and to throw it to dogs.” She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”
