Next Steps in Following Jesus: Winning Others

When did you last tell someone about Jesus Christ? Have you ever shared your faith with anyone?

Now in one sense we can’t win anyone. Salvation is a supernatural event. It is God who saves. Yet God in His grace gives us this wonderful privilege of partnering with Him to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others. This message is so important, so powerful, so eternal in its implications that everyone in the world needs to hear it. It must be shared with our family, our friends, our neighbors, those at work, with everyone! 

There are those who pray for souls to be won. There are those who week after week faithfully teach children, students, and adults. Faithfully sowing the seed. There are others who have the joy of reaping harvest. But both sowers and reapers are involved in the process of winning souls.

We are God’s fellow workers. Join in the harvest. “Look I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest” (35).
