When the Lord guides us, he doesn’t simply point us in the right direction and leave us to figure the rest out. Psalm 23 pictures God as our loving Shepherd, tenderly overseeing every step we take. He does not leave us alone when we walk through difficult and dark places, even to death. Instead he lavishly supplies our every need.
