Jesus is devoted to YOU.

Did you ever get lost in the grocery store as a kid? Maybe you stopped to look at something and accidentally wandered away from your mother. I bet when you realized you were lost, you panicked—and so did your mom! She probably left her groceries behind and searched the store, heart pounding, until she found you again. Then, she wiped away your tears and squeezed you tight as you both breathed a sigh of relief.

Or maybe you never had a caring parent to look after you and to dry your tears.

But that’s how Jesus feels about all of us—He cares about us and He searches for us when we get lost. The Bible says He’s like a Good Shepherd who will go searching for individual sheep that wander away. And when that sheep is found, He rejoices over the found sheep even more—even more than the rest of the flock who never strayed.

God’s heart for you is a genuine concern. It’s deep care and committed compassion.
