Children

Children are gifts from God. Yet the worries and trouble we put into bringing them up are often no different from those of non-Christian parents for whom school grades and work positions reign supreme regardless of a child’s God-given natural ability. Why?

Prayer: Lord, forgive me when I lord over my children with my own values and preferences and in so doing I ignore your creative purpose for each individual and his or her unique divine destiny. Lord, renew my mind so I will be thankful and respectful to your creation and your sovereignty in all ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
