“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Heavenly Father,

It’s easy to rejoice, pray, and give thanks when our lives are filled with blessings. But rejoicing and giving thanks during the bad times isn’t always easy. But, you tell us to always give thanks, and to give it without ceasing. I pray that my sisters who are going through troubled times pray without ceasing. That they rejoice, because they are your daughter, and no matter what they might be going through on earth, you are with them always.
