The Journey to the Cross in ASLПримерок

Death
Jesus, took His last breath, and committed His Spirit to the Father.
Let’s imagine for a second, that we were physically there at that moment. Could you imagine what the disciples felt? Could you imagine what His mother felt? The past 24-48 hours had been exhausting, and filled with confusion and grief. So much had happened.
For many who had followed Him, they felt as if their dream was now dead. Most of them had given up everything to follow Him. This was catastrophic. Many were sad and brokenhearted which led to misunderstandings and depression. It was only Friday, but Sunday was coming. This bad Friday was really Good Friday. This death was going to bring life.
When Jesus said the Greek word, “tetelestai” it meant “it is finished!” This meant, it wasn’t the end, but the beginning. The same God who worked through the darkness and confusion of the cross and brought life to all is the same God who can work through any darkness and confusion in our lives, to bring light and goodness to any who want to receive.
Jesus has the final word and authority.

Опис за овој план

Every year we take time before Easter to reflect on the week of the Cross and the sacrifice that Jesus made. We do this to experience a deeper relationship with Christ. For the next ten days, let’s take time together, pause, and reflect on the key moments of the Journey to the Cross.
