He contrasts the blessedness of forgiveness with the heavy weight of rebellion; the weakness of silence with the strength of confession; the determined stubbornness of a mule with someone responsive to the Lord's unfailing love. Which would you rather be? Prayer: Dear Lord, I confess there have been times when hiding and covering up seemed the best choice, but I want to be different. I acknowledge my sins are not only against the people I know and love - but against You. Please forgive my stubborn resistance; give me a soft, tender, open heart toward you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
