Sometimes difficult things happen that we have no control over. Other times, we find ourselves in bad situations that we definitely had a part in creating. Whether it’s something like drama in a friendship, a messed up dating relationship, or bad grades, there are times when our outward lives look the way they do because of decisions we’ve made. It can be a hard thing to realize that who we are on the inside plays a part in how our lives look on the outside—and not always in a good way.

The good news is that because this is true, it also means we have the power to make decisions that change our lives from the inside out. We have the power to make decisions that change things for the better. Take some time this week to look at all the different areas of your life. Are there things you aren’t happy with? What can YOU do to change them? What needs to happen on the inside to change what you’re seeing on the outside?
