Your Ears Will Hear
Isaiah 30:15, 18, 21
“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…blessed are all who wait for him…whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”
The strength and guidance we need to walk with God each day and bless those around us comes from the presence of the Lord. Waiting on God in surrender, repentance and trust brings us to the place of “expectant mentality” concerning His will and purpose for our lives. We surrender our ambition and plans, our fears and dreams – and wait in worship and thanksgiving. Our ears will hear a voice, the voice of our Shepherd in the stillness of our heart, prompting us to follow. Walking in obedience and faith in response to God’s guidance is our testimony to the world of God’s living presence in our lives.
Lord Jesus, my trust is in you this day.
