Devotion: As Christians, we so often shy away from sharing the gospel for fear of saying the wrong thing, that we might offend the person we’re sharing with or we might not have answers to their questions. Pray today for the boldness to share the gospel, for the Lord to guide your words and for your friend to understand the mystery and treasure of it all.

Prayer

God, I need boldness in order to share the gospel with ______________ . I know the message of the gospel is a mystery to those who are lost in their trespasses and sins. At one time, the gospel was a mystery to me as well. Your plan is that people would see and hear of Jesus through the witness of those who have experienced His grace and now see the gospel for the treasure it is. Grant me boldness to speak to ______________ of the hope of the gospel. I need unwavering confidence that You will use my frail words to speak of You as I should.
