Dependability, Reliability & Trustworthiness are all part of the act of carrying out prescribed roles and duties without supervision at home, school, community and society. Responsibility is a force that binds you to your obligations. Being responsible refers to our ability to make decisions that serve our own interests and the interests of others. We first need to be responsible for ourselves before we can be responsible for others. Responsible people look to the long-term goals, and not always what is easy and provides immediate satisfaction.
