An Unchanging God

In times of change, one thing remains the same, which is the Lord and His love for you. You can hold on to that no matter where you are in the world, what your circumstances are, or what choices you've made. Friends may leave, you may move five times, but the Lord remains the same and His love for you endures forever. Hold onto Him, draw closer to Him in these times. He is waiting for you with arms open wide.

His words remain true no matter where you are, or what is happening. The Lord is our water in the desert and His promises can revive us. No matter what is happening around you, hold on to the promises of God; they will give you direction, comfort and peace. You can trust Him to fulfill all He has told you. Moreover, the Lord has a plan, and you are a part of that plan. Rest in those promises and trust Him for their fulfillment.

On the days where the world gets too much, when - perhaps - you missed the turn off and had to spend twenty minutes finding your way back, look up and keep your eyes fixed on Him. Ask Him for strength for the day, feel His loving kindness, and enjoy the comfort of Him who remains the same.
